Curry Kapitan
A popular recipe originating from Malacca in Malasia. In addition to coconut milk and lemongrass, the dish makes liberal use of "belacan", a shrimp paste that is the hallmark of Malaysian cuisine. The resulting curry is very fragrant as well as having a distinct flavour and is served with steamed rice.
Bibimbap
Bibimbap is a traditional korean rice dish. Bibimbap means stir or to mix and was eaten by peasants during farming season. During the farming season, famers did not have time to eat a proper meal so they would get a bowl and mix all the side dishes and rice together and eat it as a meal. Our dish includes rice accompanied by cooked and fresh vegetables, spiced with chilli and Kimchi, plus a sunny side up egg, and chicken.
Okonomi yaki
A popular Japanese dish, whose name means ‘grill what you like’, sometimes referred to as a Japanese pancake. We take chopped vegetables and mix it with batter. This is grilled until cooked, then topped with sweet Worcester sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes and dried seaweed. Chicken or prawns can also be added .
Katsudon
It has become a modern ritual tradition for Japanese students to eat katsudon the night before taking a major test or school entrance exam. This popular Japanese food, consists of a bowl of rice topped with a fried chicken cutlet, egg, peas, chopped onions and pickled ginger.
Yakisoba
Yakisoba, literally "fried noodles", is a dish often sold at festivals in Japan and is a dish derived from the Chinese chow mein. Wheat noodles are mixed with chopped vegetables and stir fried, with Worcester sauce added for flavour.
